US Exempts Allies from Steel and Aluminum Tariffs
Trump administration added exemptions to a big group of trading partners, at least for now.
It will include European Union, along with Argentina, Australia, Brazil and South Korea.
Canada and Mexico were earlier left off the list of countries subject to the tariffs.
The new tariffs is expected to be effected tomorrow (3/23/2018) as proposed.

Trump Imposes Duties on Imports of Steel & Aluminum
President Donald Trump declared Thursday that next week he will sign a measure to impose tariffs on steel and aluminum imports to "protect national security."
Trump said the measure will levy additional duties of 25 percent on steel and 10 percent on aluminum imports. Those tariffs, he said, will remain for "a long period of time."
